Ore Adedeji is a portrait artist from Greater London of Nigerian descent. Her artwork which explores themes of heritage, legacy and culture, have been featured in ELLE Magazine online and galleries such as the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists, Tafeta Art Gallery, and at GUAP Magazine's emerging creators display at the Victoria and Albert Museum.

According to her, our heritage guides our values, beliefs, and the way in which we draw inspiration from the surrounding environment and her Nigerian heritage has a strong influence on her creative style. The vibrant patterns that adorn her artwork are influenced by Ankara fabrics worn in West Africa. This fabric was shipped to West Africa in the 20th century and quickly became imbedded in Nigerian culture. These patterns are created with a small blade which she uses to cut designs into card to create stencils that she spray paints onto the canvas. Through this process Ore experiments with layering patterns over each other to create unique compositions.
